Competitive Teardown

A competitor analysis that ends in a decision, not a feature table: their moat, their weakest point, and the specific wedge where you can win.

Prompt text

Do a competitive teardown of [competitor] against [my product/idea].

Structure:
1. Positioning: how do they describe themselves (their words) vs. how a skeptical customer would actually describe them
2. Pricing model and what it implies about their target customer
3. Their strongest feature/moat โ€” the thing that would be hardest for us to copy
4. Their weakest point / most common complaint (check reviews, forums, social if you have access)
5. Where we can win: a specific wedge, not "be better across the board"
6. Where we shouldn't bother competing directly

End with a one-paragraph "if I were their competitor, here's what I'd be most worried about them doing next."
