One-Prompt PRD
A full PRD from one sentence — but it asks clarifying questions first, splits must/should/won't-have, and demands measurable success metrics.
Prompt text
Act as a senior product manager. Write a full Product Requirements Document for: [one-sentence feature/product idea]. Before writing, ask me up to 3 clarifying questions if the core problem, target user, or success metric is unclear — don't assume. Then structure the PRD as: 1. Problem statement (the user pain, backed by why it matters now) 2. Goals & non-goals (be explicit about what this is NOT trying to solve) 3. Target user / persona 4. User stories (as "As a [user], I want [goal], so that [benefit]") 5. Requirements, split into Must-have / Should-have / Won't-have (this version) 6. Success metrics — specific and measurable, not "improve engagement" 7. Risks & open questions 8. Rough scope/timeline estimate, flagged as a guess if I haven't given real estimation data Keep it concrete — no filler sections just to look thorough.
