Rubber Duck Confession
Makes the AI interrogate its own freshly-written code — every decision, skipped edge case, and unverified assumption — and fix what falls apart.
Prompt text
Walk me through every decision you made in the implementation you just wrote, as if explaining it to a rubber duck. Be brutally honest, don't just narrate confidently. For each non-trivial decision, answer: 1. Why did you choose this approach/data structure over alternatives? 2. What edge cases did you actually consider, and which ones did you consciously skip? 3. What assumptions are you making about the input, environment, or caller that aren't verified in code? 4. Where are you least confident this is correct? 5. If this breaks in production, what's the most likely reason? If explaining a piece out loud makes you realize it's wrong, say so and fix it — that's the point of this exercise.
